Why Join Campus Crime stoppers?

GISD Campus Crime Stoppers is a student engagement program to address juvenile related crimes, particularly criminal activity occurring in and around school campuses.  It is a joint effort between school Administration, students, staff, law enforcement and all of our surrounding communities to engage students to take active roles in keeping their schools and communities safe and free from the threat of violence, illegal drugs, weapons and other dangerous activities.

GISD Campus Crime Stoppers was started in 2016 by dedicated students who wanted to make their school safer.  To date Hood County Crime Stoppers has paid out approximately $2,000.00 to students who have reported crime in the schools.  Lets not wait till something happens, Lets stop it before it happens.  Students can download the P3 app on any device to submit a tip.  The Hood County Crime Stoppers tip page is also on every Chromebook in the district to assist with reporting.
